Welcome to the Euro-African Residency

In November 2025, OneMBA participants experienced their second international residency, continuing their transformative academic journey. Following their first gathering in May 2025, learners began this residency in Barcelona, at TBS Education’s campus, before traveling to Casablanca for a week of discovery, learning, and multicultural exchange.

The week kicked off with a deep dive into Barcelona’s business ecosystem followed by thought-sessions on AI ethics with professor Carlos Carrasco. Participants also visited BAP Company to witness innovation in action and enjoyed cultural experiences, from local tours to a closing cocktail at TBS Education. The residency blended academic rigor with real-world insights, reinforcing the program’s commitment to shaping globally minded leaders.

Kicking off in Barcelona

The residency started in Barcelona, where participants from the three OneMBA partner institutions—FGV (Brazil), Xiamen University (China), and TBS Education (France, Spain and Morocco)—reunited. The vibrant atmosphere of Barcelona set the stage for reigniting the cohort spirit, strengthening collaboration, and fostering new connections.

The first part of the week featured academic courses focused on digital transformation, sustainability, and regional business strategies.

Exploring opportunities in Casablanca

The second half of the residency took place in Casablanca, where participants delved into the economic and cultural landscape of North Africa. The program included company visits to major local and international organizations, as well as modules that highlighted the unique challenges and opportunities of doing business in the region.

A residency centered on innovation and intercultural exchange

Innovation and intercultural learning were at the heart of this residency. Beyond academic sessions and company visits, participants engaged in cultural activities that allowed them to experience the rich traditions and modern energy of both Barcelona and Casablanca.
