OneMBA students and alumni visit Airbus in Germany
Students and alumni from OneMBA at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM), visited one of the world’s largest companies this month. More than 40 participants visited the German headquarters of Airbus. OneMBA alumnus (’11) Eric Rosa Rebelo gave an informative presentation about the quality management required for such a complex manufacturing process.
The students and alumni learned about the assembly required for the world’s largest passenger plane, the A-380, and the sourcing feat required to build such a large aircraft. In addition, they learned why the industry has become increasingly conservative and the product development times continue to increase.
Antonio D’Acunto was “blown away” by the sourcing and assembly process. The visit also included a networking session at Hamburg’s Town Hall. This event provides additional support that the OneMBA community is global, yet closely connected. Read more about this exceptional event here.
