Marina Heck, PhD

Marina has been a professor at EAESP-FGV Business School in São Paulo, where she teaches Social Anthropology Applied to Organizations and Cultural Aspects of International Business, since 1987. She also teaches and consults in these fields for In-Company Educational Programs. Before being appointed as Associate Dean for the OneMBA program, she directed the Center for Cultural Extension which offers Extra-curriculum courses to under-graduate students. She is the author of several books and chapters in readers.
Dr. Heck completed her bachelor at the Universidade de São Paulo. She holds a PhD from the Universite de Sciences Sociales de Grenoble and a Master on Arts from the Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies of the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. In 2001 she was a Research Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of London.
