Silvio Abrahão Laban Neto, PhD
Professor Laban has graduated in Naval Engineering at Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo and is a Business Administration specialist and Ph.D. in Marketing from FGV-EAESP. His research interests are in the areas of marketing and technology alignment and cross impacts, social networks, retail strategy and relationship marketing. Dr. Laban had also developed an executive career in Consulting and Retailing companies such as Accenture, Carrefour, Wal Mart and Group Pão de Açúcar. From 2001 till 2005 he was co-chair of ECR (Efficient Consumer Response) Brazil and Latin America and served in the board of GCI (Global Commerce Initiative). Presently, besides teaching at FGV-EAESP and other institutions Professor Laban acts as a consultant in the areas of IT, strategy and education.
