Dr. Luis García-Calderón

Professor of Strategy

Dr. García-Calderón has been a professor for more than 25 years in ITESM, Universidad de Monterrey and UANL, in Mexico. He also has a long experience in research and consulting for both private and public organizations with a 15 year experience in informatics.
His research focuses in different areas such as strategy, international competitiveness, organizational theory, strategic informatics, innovation and technology, case theory and complexity applied to organizations. Some of this research papers are: “Organizational Performance: A Model Based on Organizational Networks, Knowledge Transfer, and Information Technology”; “A PLS Model of Strategic Networks and Organizational Performance: Based on Environmental Turbulence, Information Technology, and Transaction Costs”; “Comptech: Designing the Future of SME’s Competitiveness”; among other.
Dr. García-Calderón earned a PhD from ITESM and OWEN/Vanderbilt, an MBA and a Master in Science from ITESM and a bachelor degree in Physics and Mathematics Sciences also from ITESM.
