Minimum qualifications
Professional work experience: Seven years of work experience is required, with ten preferred. On average, UNC OneMBA students are in their mid-30s with 13 years work experience. We look for current or expected global management responsibilities.
Education background: You must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. We evaluate your ability to perform from your academic transcripts. The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) & Graduate Record Examination (GRE) are optional. We recommend taking one of the tests if your academic records do not show strong quantitative skills.
Business skills: You will need basic knowledge of accounting, statistics, finance, and economics. You should also to be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, including financial and statistical functions. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
