Marketing Professor wins OneMBA Teaching Award

Dr. Sridhar Balasubramanian, the Roy & Alice H. Richards Bicentennial Scholar and associate professor of marketing at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, was awarded the excellence in teaching award by the OneMBA graduating class of UNC.
The OneMBA executive students who nominated the professor affectionately known as “Dr. B” complimented him on his enthusiasm in the classroom and knowledge of marketing. Furthermore, the students appreciated the immediate applicability of his concepts.
“From the teachings of Dr. B, I was able to leverage my experience and his methods into a new position at work. He is fantastically energetic and has a tremendous penchant for conveying the concepts through both explanation of theory and real-world examples,” summed up one of the executives.
